Broadford played this game an Clooney on Saturday evening against a much fancied home side on Saturday evening, Broadford were in a much more relaxed mood before the throw in, as their opponents went through an extremly professional and drawn out warm up. This mood continued onto the field of play with Broadford playing a much more fluid brand of hurling which was greatly improved on the previous performance, and the visitors were unlucky to trail by a goal at the break as a long range free on the stroke of half time took a deflection and ended up in the net. After the restart Broadford quickly drew level and the move of the game ended up with Niall Moloney scoring an excellent goal. Broadford were unlucky not to take all three points, but should be happy with a much improved performance. Best for Broadford were Alan Kilcoyne and Niall Moloney.
