Once again, Broadford Minor Hurling Club hosted a hugely successful Easter Camp, welcoming East Clare’s budding young hurling and camogie stars for four fun-filled and action-packed days. The event drew an impressive crowd of around 170 children and was made possible by the dedication of over 50 volunteer coaches—whose commitment and enthusiasm are the backbone of this annual tradition.
This year’s camp featured a new highlight: a Fundamental Movement Day led by Paul’s ABCs, focusing on the athletic development of children through engaging physical activities that build essential movement skills.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Karen O’Connor and The Country Store for generously providing food and refreshments for our hardworking coaches. We were also delighted to welcome special guests Patrick Crotty and Paddy Donnellan, whose presence added an extra buzz of excitement for the young players.
Finally, sincere thanks to Broadford & Kilbane National School for the continued use of their excellent facilities, which play a vital role in making events like this possible.
