The Broadford Junior Camogie team lost out to Corofin in the Junior A Final on Saturday. Corofin were the stronger side but the Broadford ladies battled it out to the very end. The final score of 2-13 to 1-05 did not reflect the game and the effort of the Broadford side but genuine congratulations to Corofin on their win.
In the Junior B Final against Tubber later the same afternoon, the Broadford hurlers gave a fine performance to beat their opponents 2-18 to 1-08. Well done lads!
It has been a great year for Broadford Hurling and Camogie, and this weekend was testimony to the effort of all the players, mentors and everyone that helped the teams reach their finals.
