The Broadford Juniors played Doora Barefield last Sunday, 28th June, in the Junior A League semi-final.
At the end of the first half Broadford led 0-07 to 0-04 but as the scores might show, points were difficult to come by for both sides and were fought hard for. In the second half though, Doora Barefield came back on to the field with force and drove the game their way with a torrent of points to take the scores to 0-07- to 2-11. Broadford made a final push in the last five minutes with the final three points of the match but unfortunately it was too late to change the outcome. Final score 0-10 to 2-11.
