Broadford Hurling Club would like to thank everyone who sponsored a seat for the new stand. To those who sponsored a seat in memory of a loved one and those who so gratefully thought of a deceased member of the parish who no longer have family here.
We would also like to thank our past hurlers living outside the county.
To date we have 263 seats sponsored! Anyone wishing to help us reach our target of 279 seats can contact Pat on 087 3506359.
The construction of the stand has taken a huge leap over the last few days. The infill was laid in last week but that might have gone unnoticed to the casual onlooker. Anyone passing through Broadford over the last day or so though cannot have failed to notice the addition of the steelwork that will hold roof and frame the glass sides.
The stand is starting to really take shape and looks really impressive. This is all thanks to the wonderful generosity of the club’s members, supporters and many friends near and far.
