The Broadford Under 21's match against Sixmilebridge is now set to take place this coming Sunday, 1st March at 12:30. The match will be played in Clonlara. The Under 13 medal presentation will be held in the clubhouse on Sunday 15th February. This is for the girls' great win against Cratloe in the U13 C Shield final last season. All support for the girls welcome on Sunday. Broadford Camogie registration of players and non-playing members will be held on Wednesday 18th February, in the clubhouse, from 5:45pm to 6:45pm.

As always your support is much appreciated! Broadford Hurling Club will be holding a poker classic in Danny’s Bar, Broadford this coming Friday. It might be Friday 13th but someone’s luck will be in. So head down for the start at 10.30pm sharp. Congratulations to the five Broadford players who helped Tulla into the final of the Munster B Colleges, Corn Thomáis Mhic Choilm competition on Saturday 7th February. The final score in the match against Colaiste Criost Ri was 0-12 to 0-10.
The Broadford players were Darren Chaplin, Eoin Donnellan, Matthew Troy, Diamuid O' Brien and Jack Dillon. Well done to the entire team! Broadford Hurling Club will be serving up hot pancakes outside the club house from 12.30pm on Shrove Tuesday, which is on the 17th February. There won’t be a charge for pancakes, tea’s, coffees, hot-chocolate etc., but there will be a collection box for donations to the club. So come along for a bit of fun and make a traditional start to Lent, whilst helping your local hurling club. ScratchcardTickets are being distributed to Club members for a draw that will take place in March. The winner will be the ticket that contains the winning time of the First try in the Scotland V Ireland Rugby game. All monies raised will be going directly to the Minor Club and it's young players. Your support will make this campaign a huge success.
Broadford will play Sixmilebridge towards the end of February, in a preliminary Clare U21 hurling championship fixture. The winning team will take on Ballyea. The final date and location for the match are yet to be determined. We will keep you posted as soon as we hear details. Against the reigning champions Sixmilebridge, it’s going to be an exciting match!
