The Broadford Under 14's ended their 2016 season on a high on Thursday the 23rd June when they beat Smith O'Brien's in the  Gerard Moroney Under 14 Memorial Tournament final. The lads from broadford held their worthy opponents to a final score line of 2-16 to 1-15 in an exciting match that demonstrated the skill and commitment of both teams.

After the match the cup was presented by Conor Moroney, brother to the late Gerard Moroney in whose memory the tournament was held. Conor led tributes to his brother and congratulated both teams on their performance before presenting the cup to the Broadford captain Davy Boland.

Congratulations to the mentors and players of both teams on their successes this year and thank you to everyone that contributed with the post-match spread.
