All the children who attended took part in numerous fun games and activities whilst improving their skills.
Some huge achievements and various individual accomplishments throughout the week from junior infants to first year secondary school, all of whom should be very proud of themselves.
Lots of new friendships made also, the sportsmanship and team support at camp was outstanding. The children who attended are a credit to their parents.
One of the highlights of the week was a visit by Clare Hurling stars Patrick Crotty (Scariff), Niamh Powell & John Conlon (Clonlara) and Broadford’s own Paddy Donnellan.
This camp would not have been possible without our phenomenal coaches who volunteered to give up their free time to coach last week. The minor club is indebted to the efforts of Darren Chaplin, Aoife Boland, Naoise O’Sullivan, Diarmuid O’Brien, Jack O’Brien, JC McMahon, Michael Hogan, Paul Moloney, Cian Mulqueen, Moya Marsh McMahon, Paul O’Connell, Aoife O’Brien, Catherine Donnellan & Eoin Powell and our juvenile coaches Sadhbh O’Sullivan, Harry Cooper, Sam Cooper, Tomas McMahon, Peter O’Farrell, & Isobel O’Connell…. This team of coaches led the camp from beginning to end and made the camp the success that it was. These individuals are excellent role models to our young children and our club is very grateful for all the work that they did.
Also, a big thank you to our club photographers Martin Cooper and Joanne Quinn Tuite for all their work during the week!
Finally, thank you to our hugely supportive parents for getting your kids to camp every day and for all your positive feedback.
