The Broadford/Smith O’Brien’s 2015 Minor Panel celebrated their Minor A and Minor C wins with a celebration dinner followed by the presentation of their medals in the Lakeside Hotel, Ballina on Saturday 26th March.
The medals were presented by Clare Senior Hurler Brendan Bugler. Brendan started the presentation ceremony by offering some inspirational words to the lads from the Broadford and Smith O’Brien’s clubs on the positive influence of hurling in helping to keep fit and healthy both physically and, importantly, mentally; especially with the buzz felt from playing for your club and county.
The evening was a great success thanks to the effort of the clubs' management teams in putting the event together; the players, some of whom have now progressed beyond minor level this year but all will surely move on to further success in the future, and especially to Brendan Bugler for making the event so special.
