Broadford met the Inagh/KIilnamona 2nd team in the second round of the Intermediate League in Broadford on Friday evening. Broadford won the match on an impressive score line of 5-21 to 0-09.
The high winning margin was achieved thanks to some great team work that saw the ball sent over the bar from near and far positions on the field. Impressive team coordination was responsible for continuously seeing the ball passed from player to player to create many of the scoring opportunities.
From Cailean Cox’s winning possession of the ball in the Broadford backline running, up the field and hand passing the ball long across the field to Eoin O’Brien who then pucked it up to Darren Chaplin for delivery in to the back of the net; Padraig Hickeys slam to the back of the net from 20m after receiving the ball from the wing and the final goal of the match from Aonghus O’Brien after a pass from Darren Chaplin .
