The Broadford U16 Camogie team played Clarecastle/Ballyea on Monday evening in O’Callaghan’s Mills.
The Broadford girls were seeking a win in their last group match to take them through to a semi-final and goals from Moya McMahon, Aiofe O’Brien and Susan O’Shea, along with four well taken points, helped Broadford secure the win they were eagerly looking for.
The Clarecastle/Ballyea team put up a good defence to ensure the game was not one-sided but, in the event, the stronger side came through on this occasion. Final score 4-04 to 1-04.
